Director of Marketing & Partner Alliances
Mainstreet, Inc. seeks an individual for the Director of Marketing & Partner Alliances position. Job duties include, among many others, identifying, developing, and evaluating competitive marketing strategies and potential customers based on knowledge of Mainstreet’s objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors; forecasting the production and consumption of Mainstreet products and services, as well as customer demand and sales, based on the company’s prior history, general marketing principles, and industry-specific conditions for all markets in which Mainstreet operates; and negotiating contracts with corporate clients;
Must have at least an MBA degree; 5 years of experience as a Marketing Manager. Must also have 5 years of experience in direct retail point-of-sale (POS) business development as it relates to marketing complex service programs to retailers, manufacturers, and service providers. That includes in-depth knowledge of the POS service industry, POS technology, POS legacy technology, and POS technology migration, including, among others, multi-vendor cash register systems from proprietary legacy systems to open architecture, PC-based terminals, POS peripherals, and self-check-out and back-office systems. Experience can be concurrent. Must have experience in delivering strategic presentations with emphasis on value proposition and fiscal advantages. Must have experience in business-to-business sales and closing of deals. Experience in occupation must include supervisory experience.
